Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale reaffirms its commitment to professional equality between women and men, achieving an outstanding score of 100/100 in the 2025 Gender Equality Index.
Introduced to measure progress in workplace pay equality, the Gender Equality Index is based on specific indicators that result in an overall score out of 100. Today, it represents a key tool in tackling professional inequalities and sustainably reducing gaps between women and men.
By obtaining a score of 100/100 for 2025, Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale demonstrates its concrete commitment to fostering a fair and inclusive working environment.
The Index is calculated according to five regulatory criteria:
- Pay gaps between women and men;
- Differences in salary increases;
- Differences in promotions;
- The percentage of female employees receiving a pay rise following maternity leave;
- The representation of women among the ten highest-paid positions.
Through these indicators, Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale continues to actively promote gender equality, reaffirming its commitment to combating professional inequalities within the hospitality sector.
